Porsche enthusiasts can now spend their nights in close proximity to their sports car, concluding an exciting day in style in the Porsche rooftop tent amidst nature. The elevated sleeping position offers a dreamlike view of forests and meadows, mountains and lakes. The skylight provides a panoramic view for exploring the night sky. In addition to the Skyview skylight, the rooftop tent has 2 side windows. These can be opened completely for ventilation and closed for the night with a mosquito net and additional blackout. While driving, this 2-person tent is securely stored in an exclusive hard case.

The hard case, developed by the Porsche Research and Development Center in Weissach, is available in a choice of black/light gray or black/dark gray color combinations. It was designed by Studio F. A. Porsche in Zell am See and features the iconic matte black "PORSCHE" monogram on both sides. The all-season tent is made of breathable cotton blend fabric, closes with waterproof zippers, and has additional weather protection. The side walls are eye-catching, evoking the legendary 911 silhouette and also featuring the "PORSCHE" monogram. The interior also boasts several highlights, such as the well-insulated quilted lining in light gray tones, with a mountain motif printed at the head of the bed. The quilted pattern is repeated on the comfortable, integrated mattress made of high-density polyurethane foam.
The Porsche rooftop tent is attached to the base support of the roof transport system before departure and can be further secured with an anti-theft device. At the vacation destination, it can be set up in a flash. Once the two lockable safety latches are opened, the hard case lifts slightly and, thanks to 2 gas pressure struts, unfolds. Then, the leg section of the base can be unfolded and stabilized using the integrated telescopic ladder. Finally, the already unfolded tent just needs to be shaped and tensioned using 4 spring rods.

Other Tequipment accessories will soon be available for the rooftop tent, including an inner tent for improved thermal insulation, a heated blanket for chilly nights, and practical storage for shoes and bags.
